Words you will hear
A short list. The quote should still spell out what your own trip includes.
On the ground
A game drive is a wildlife outing by vehicle. A bush breakfast is that meal set out in the reserve, not back at the table. A hide, or blind, is a sheltered seat at a waterhole.
A concession or conservancy is land outside, or alongside, a national park, run under its own rules. A private vehicle is yours for the stay. A shared drive means other guests and a fixed departure.
A mokoro is a dugout canoe poled through the Okavango. A fly camp is a simple overnight camp, lighter than a permanent lodge. A night drive is an after-dark outing, and it is only offered where the land allows it.
Seasons and animals
Green season and dry season describe rain and grass, not a moral score. The migration is the wildebeest movement between Tanzania and Kenya. The Big Five is the old hunting list: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino.
A park fee is the conservation charge for being there. It may be inside your from-price or added on the quote. Check which.
