1.When to go
Dry months (roughly June to October in most of Southern and East Africa) give the easiest game viewing and the clearest skies. The green season is quieter, cheaper and lush, with afternoon rain. Island weeks have their own calendars: the Seychelles are good most of the year, Zanzibar is wettest in April and May, and Mauritius is driest from May to October.

Write it on the quote form. Camps often set aside a quieter room, a private dinner or a sundowner spot for couples when they know in advance, and that is far easier to arrange before arrival than on the day. None of it is promised until it is on the quote.
3.Pace the trip
Two camps in the bush and one place on the coast is the most common honeymoon shape, and for good reason. Three nights in each stop means you are not packing every morning. Light-aircraft hops between camps save hours; the quote confirms the fare.
4.Health, visas and insurance
Travel insurance, visas and any malaria prophylaxis sit outside the published rate on every trip. A travel clinic will advise on the exact parks and dates on your quote; the Cape, Namibia and the islands are often chosen by couples who want to avoid the tablets.
5.What the rate covers
The published range is per person sharing a room. Nights, meals and the drives named on each stay are inside it. International flights, tips, drinks that the stay does not list and optional extras are not. A quote comes before any payment.

Couple routes are written for two people. A longer group can still be quoted from the same outline.
