Cape Town is one of the great eating cities, and the winelands an hour inland have been making wine for more than three centuries. A food and wine holiday with Safari Continents Travel puts a few days at that table before or after a Kruger safari, so the trip has both the bush and the cellar.
Tastings, a long lunch at a wine farm and a dinner in the city are included only where the day says so; otherwise they are suggestions, and the quote can book any of them. The wine days are written as stays with their own meals, and the safari days keep their game drives.
The Cape is the table. Franschhoek and the Constantia valley for the estates, the city for its restaurants and markets, and the Whale Coast for seafood and, in season, whales seen from the shore.
