The Indian Ocean off East and Southern Africa holds some of the warmest, clearest water anywhere, and the reefs that go with it. A diving or snorkelling holiday with Safari Continents Travel puts those reefs at the end of a safari, so the trip is bush in the first week and blue in the second.
What is included follows the stay. Some island lodges have a house reef you swim to from the beach; others run a daily boat; a few include a set number of dives. The stay text says which, and the quote adds a dive package or equipment hire if you want it. Bring your certification card if you plan to dive rather than snorkel.
