The morning starts with a walk alongside Imire's resident elephants and rhinos. After breakfast you travel to Musangano Lodge for one night, on the slopes of the Eastern Highlands. Three walking trails leave from the lodge, through forest, with some flat sections and some steep rock. In season the msasa trees turn red, orange, and yellow. Longer walks in the Vumba Mountains, on Mount Nyangani, or to Mutarazi Falls can be added, as can a homestead visit or the Rhodes Nyanga exhibition. The quote confirms which of those are included. Lunch is not part of this stay.
