Ready-to-Plan Safari Advice
How to read a priced itinerary on this site, and how to turn it into a quote.
Ready-to-Plan travel advice
For health questions, a travel clinic has the final word. For visas, check the embassy of each country on the route.

1.Read the stays first
Each itinerary lists the camp, the nights and the meals for every stop. That is what the published rate is built from. If a camp is missing from a stay, the quote confirms where you sleep.
2.The rate is per person sharing
Prices are shown per person sharing a room, in US dollars, converted for browsing in the currency you pick. A single traveller is quoted individually; there is no single-room supplement charged on this site.
3.Change anything
Shorten it, lengthen it, swap a camp, move the month. The outline is the starting point. The quote is the version you actually travel on.
4.Month matters
The same route can be a different trip in the green season. Check the travel-by-month notes for each park on the itinerary before you settle on dates.
Travel by month5.Quote, then payment
Ask for a quote from the itinerary page or the enquiry form. Nothing is booked, and nothing is paid, until you accept that quote.

Quick facts
Ready-to-plan means the trip already has a day-by-day outline and a published per-person rate. You can read it, then ask for a quote. Nothing is paid until you accept that quote.
The outline is the starting point
Nights, camps, and meals are the ones written on the page. They can still change when the quote is drawn up.
The rate is per person sharing
A single room is not given a supplement on this site. If you are travelling alone, say so on the quote form.
Filters do the sorting
Country, length, and price are on the tours list. This page is the shorter sample of routes that already have a price.
Payment is last
A quote comes before any payment. The figure on the card is the published sample, not an invoice.
What every trip on this site includes
- Published rates are per person sharing, in US dollars, shown in the currency you choose while browsing.
- Nights, meals and the activities named on each stay are inside the rate. International flights, visas, insurance, tips and unlisted drinks are not.
- No single-room supplement is charged, and children pay the same per-person rate as adults.
- Wildlife sightings are never promised. Guides, parks and seasons are chosen to give the best chance; the animals decide the rest.
- Gorilla itineraries include one permit per person per trek unless the page says two.
- A written quote comes first. Nothing is booked and nothing is paid until you accept it.
