After breakfast, you will be transferred by a chauffeur-driven limousine to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport for your onward flight to Botswana.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Khwai Lediba, a beautifully positioned safari camp overlooking the seasonal floodplains of the Okavango Delta, on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve. After three nights at Khwai Lediba, you will board a light aircraft for a scenic flight to Belmond Savute Elephant Camp, located in the iconic Savute region of Chobe National Park.
Often described as the elephant capital of the world, Savute lies at the heart of Chobe’s most dramatic wildlife encounters. The camp is positioned just metres from a permanent waterhole, offering outstanding dry-season game viewing. From here, you can watch large herds of elephants gathering to drink, often at remarkably close range. Savute is also renowned for its predator activity, with lions and hyenas frequently sighted, alongside leopard, cheetah and the elusive African wild dog.
