Upon arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp overlooks vast savannahs, in an area made famous by the iconic scenes from Out of Africa.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, you will return to Wilson Airport for a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a transfer to Lake Manyara. The park’s diverse habitats are alive with wildlife. Acacia woodlands and floodplains host tree-climbing lions, elephants, and the tiny Kirk’s dik-dik, while playful blue monkeys and hornbills animate the forest. After a morning game drive and breakfast at Lake Manyara, you will travel by road to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. This World Heritage Site is a unique ecosystem, offering dramatic landscapes and an extraordinary variety of wildlife. Your base for the visit is Lemala Osonjoi Lodge, ideally located to explore the area in comfort and style.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact, un-flooded caldera, spanning roughly 260 square kilometres (100 square miles). From the lodge, descend over lush rainforest to the crater floor, where wildebeest, zebra, eland, and gazelle graze alongside Africa’s densest lion population. The surrounding forested slopes are home to elephants, mountain antelope, buffalo, hyenas, wild dogs, leopards, and cheetahs.

Enjoy a full day exploring the crater floor with a guided game drive, pausing for a picnic among the grazing herds. Return to the lodge for sunset drinks on the crater rim and a delicious dinner in the lodge’s dining area.
